Ham and Cheese Sliders

These small hamburgers got their name from Navy sailors in the 1940s. Referring to their greasiness, the burgers were said to slide down. The mini hamburgers first arrived in the United States, however, through the White Castle hamburger chain, which was founded in 1921. Today, sliders are a popular and fun food to eat and include various ingredients.
